    Series 2 with coil susp

Bought this series 2 -2a, just wondering if the body is ex military as it has coil springs and disk brakes all round.

It does have the passenger side fuel filler/tank, which was common on military series but not so common on civvies.
The guards are cut higher than military guards.
There weren't as far as I know any hardtop shorty military Landies.
It has series 3 door hinges.
Its just a bit of a bitza

Looks as if it has a Series 2a chassis but converted to coils with RR axles. Nothing except the paint colour to suggest it could be military. If you are planning to use it on the road it will need a lot of engineering approvals - and you won't get one for that drag link!

It looked like it had a mod plate already, but that drag link is a shocker!!! Looks like its taken a hit.
