    After 3 1/2 miles of road testing this happens

    "Not happy Jan".................will ask wife to sew me some sort of gaiter, hand brake rubber is still holding in there...................both blue box


    Tuesday going to town to book a roadworthy inspection, windscreen prestik still hasn't arrived so will buy some tube windscreen sealant to set windscreen glass in.

    Only oil leak is minor from two selector shafts on top of main gearbox............spewing a bit that I didn't replace O rings when I had box out............can they be replaced in situ with tunnel removed?

    Ok this thread is nearly over, roadworthy booked for 27th November

    I'm a bit disappointed about windscreen sealant still not arrived and brake sensor switch I ordered off a UK company I've delt with often during build also no show

    upside is brake lights now work ......I'm picking poorly bleed brakes weren't activating hydraulic switch properly

    Ended up using glazing silicon for windscreen .......messy and will be difficult to remove glass if need be in the future.

    Will post some pictures when I've finished whiper wiring

    Hi Paul, Awesome job with the rebuild. Allthough i think it's bit late now but regarding windscreen i heard lot of people had success with dum dum Sealant. Also some references on this blog
