I'm not sure how relevant this is , but yesterday for the second weekend in a row, one just like this drove past my place here on the Northern Beaches, I'm not sure if you are looking for it or not, but i can keep my eye out.
As stated, I know nothing but it was definately one with lights in the grill....and it was a fire engine!, had all the equipment etc..

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

    Hi there Ray

Although records are scratchy - but there were four of them brought over for work on the Snowy Hydro Scheme.

Out of that batch of four - there is three left, and there is one in the Sydney area somewhere (owned by Alex M).

    All the best

That is not a bad record - 75% survival over 40-odd years!

One thing with fire engines - there maintained well and usually low km's.

Diana found some records at some stage of some (FIREFLYS - FIRE ENGINES) being delivered for the Australian Navy (but theres no photographic evidence as of yet that they existed)

Who knows but one day they might show up (as a barn find).

    All the best

    Hi there all

Been a little slack - time for a verbal update...........

Well - been over all the wirring etc, and ready for rego.....

All the racking finished, alloy work polished........just awaiting the discharge valves (well still trying to locate......)

But now decided to give it a spruce up and respray (not a total rebuild).......should be ready an on display at Blinman 2010............
