You would want it packed between two sheets of ply in a wooden frame so the freight will be up there, for the volume price.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

    Hi there Diana

Sorry I missed your call this morning.......

    As for volume I only need is 2 x 800mm x 400mm - not a lot indeed.

    All the best

The news may not be so good, one of the mills that made "cricket weave" in Wales recently closed, so unless there is another mill pressing the pattern you will have to find some unsold stock.

I've sent the UK forward control and 1 ton LR minions out looking for a piece 800mm X 800mm however given that the pattern is directional is there a pattern direction you need on each of the two smaller pieces.

    Hi there Diana

will give you a call later tonight when back in phone range.

The main piece I am after is in the picture below (Main Pump Facia) (400 x 800) - because they had a petrol standby pump fitted they cut a hole which is difficult to repair and will be noticed.

If I am unable to find a bit I might use standard aluminium sheet/plate as I dont think it will look to much out of place..........open to ideas.

Have also been told the old Highways Department mobile camper vans had a simular aloy out sheeting.....

    Hi there all

Well with the fire place stoked, fabrication of the ladder & suction line racks has started...............

Been a great day and will post pictures shortly....I must admit SA is currently getting good rains (and the creek at the rear of our property flowing well)

Also a wanted note - I am after a good front series II bumper...if any one has one in good condition.

    All the best

    Hi there all

Just a small update.......been a bit busy with work so progress has been slowed.

All the ladder rack and suction lines have been fitted.

All the electrics work, and rear tail lights replace and repaired all the rear alloy work (have used plain sheet alloy but still looking for the right tread pattern)

Still awaiting for the machined rear discharge valves, as they were damaged when purchased but changing them to london round fitting (same fitting as SA & WA Standards).

PS one day the fire service will standardise fire fighting fitting Australia wide (it causes lots of problems........)

And also to add the new seats have arrived from Ex-moor Trim.........(cheaper then getting them done in Australia)

Need to give them a big praise - as I am very impressed with quality and service.

    Well all the best

How much were those beauties Wayne? (if you don't mind my asking...)

I was going to recover my seats for Gus but if they are cheapish then I might just get some shipped over.

    Hi there Shonky

They were under $500 delivered (would have to check with minster of finance an war but $450-480)...........................but all new frames, foam and ready to fit (its standard/base trim in elephant hide - thats what they call it).

And unable to stress enough - great quality and service, they even called to confirm order had been sent (thanks Jenny). They are made by Ex-moor trim but they now only sell through agents.

If you order through exmoor - on line inquiry - the orders are diverted to Craddocks.

PS - still on the hunt for a good SII bumper.........if any one can help

    All the best
