Those doors look good. My station wagon ones have the deluxe kit installed - it was probably standard in a stage 1. I need a set of the back doors for my station wagon...
See the inner door handle (not the lock handle, the one you use to slam the door shut from the inside)?
If you get those doors, see if you can get as many of those handles as you can. They are as rare as hens teeth and, when you find them, are really expensive (I stopped bidding on one in eBay and it eventually went for over $100). I have one broken one. They break easily if you have tight new door seals and have to give the door a bit more of a 'slam' when shutting it. I might just take my broken one to a fabricator one day and he can weld a new securing plate on it for me.
What part are you trying to explain here??

Where the handle attaches to the door, there is a flat section with a hole in it for the attaching screw. The one I have has broken off horizontally right through the screw hole. The other 3 doors are OK. I am considering cutting off the broken flat bit and having someone weld a new flat bit onto the handle section. (I don't have welding gear here). As said earlier, I have chased a few on eBay but they have sold for stupid money.
In truth, when I fit my fat arse into the drivers seat there is precious little room between aforementioned butt and the door - so it is easier for me to slide the window open, put my arm out through the window, place it against the door body and haul it shut. I think I only want to fix and fit the handle to make the door 'complete'.![]()
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I was thinking you ment the funny claw foot bit that actualy holds the door shut..
I'll have a look on the weekend i have some here somewhere..Came with the green one when i got it..It was full of parts in the back when we got it & i mean full..
HHHMMMMMMM
I have a brandnew welder sitting here that i have never used. The kids got it for me one fathers day but i only wanted the trolley that came with it..Its a stick welder & a nut came off on the inside its only the nut that holds the pointer on the adjuster thingy..I always use my old dinosaur stick welder & for thiner stuff i have the mig..I'll see what it would cost to send it to you..its good for most jobs i just use old faithfull..
I got a heap of series one bits that was in the back of the green one aswell..

Mine were constantly becoming loose so I've fixed them with nuts and bolts, they don't rattle now either![]()
Well i've had some troubles with the green one in the last couple of weeks. The power steering died was heavy as with that small steering wheel on it..Anyway i went & brought a BRANDNEW pump & put that on but still didnt fix the problem , Well it did sorta it was was still heavy ish..
OLD pump.
NEW pump
So i then went & got a secondhand power steering box & put that on..
So its all back together.
To me it still feels tight or heavy ish .But peter at Kotara said nup thats the best series i've ever driven & so easy with the power steering.
Told Karen we need our arse smacked & its fine stop worrying about what mite be & get out & enjoy the thing..
So i guess its all ok & fine & its just me being a fussy prat & want everything perfect all the damn time..
So yeah it all done & good.I spose.

And an update on Harry..
I'm using my doortop theres no rust in them at all but some clown drilled holes in them to fit truck mirrors..so i been filling them & yet more SANDING..
So there ready for primer.
Also got the front end off that stage one & the doors off it..
Started to strip the doors Glad im using my doortops the red ones are stuffed.like this all the way along.
I'm a bit worried about the gaurds as they are both cracked right at the top of the bend on the inside where it goes down to the front.
Also broke me good breaker bar trying to undo the wheel nuts on the green one, I use it as a wheel brace.Well i did..
Cleaned the shed up a bit to make room.Found all me rivets anyone would think i own shares in the company..
Hey John i took those door handles off the ones you said about, There alloy i thought they where steel .Anyway there not broken so i spose thats a bonus ,Not to sure if i'll use em yet tho..
Thats about it realy i have started stripping the gaurds of the wires & stuff off them ready to paint strip.Still have to pickup the bonnet as it would'nt fit in the green car aparently so there going to drop it off for me..
Now all i need to find are some good pics of stage ones so i can see how it bolts on on the front & what brackets i need to make..

All the body & radiator panel bolts on differantly & i have never seen one before so that would help.
if yours still has the panels on it could you get a pic of the inside of them where they bolt on..or just some close ups of the front end would be very appreciated.Thanks..
