Banjo it looks like you have been very busy.
That gearbox looks the same as the one I have and I will try and take a pic of it today. I have not got the box out of the vehicle yet as I got sidetracked doing some other jobs. I have the bell housing etc. out so I will see if it has the same manufacturers identification codes on it.
The marks adaptor kit has a heavier flywheel that is part of the conversion so it would improve low down pulling power. I wonder if the 253 V8 conversion also uses a heavier flywheel. The Holden 253 V8 conversions into Bedford trucks utilised a heavier flywheel and made the 253's pull very well. I am not sure who made those conversion kits!

    Cheers, Mick.

Thanks Mick that would be great..As for the flywheel this one is huge..When i had them out & separated i had a look & its so thick. From the front of it to the back or where the ring gear is, It seems 4 inches think.I realise this would be hollow underneath , But i am looking forward to pulling it all apart just to check it out...Where the gearstick is seems to be its own top plate made for it . The whole top cover & stick must be part of the conversion aswell.I could'nt really get good pics of it as its still filthy..Next time i have it untarped ill give it a clean & take some pics.So i was thinking with the conversion you must get a bellhousing adapter,A T/case adapter & the top cover plate & stick maybe..

Yep one large one blew over the back fence This little one blew to bits over the weekend & i had another one But it only got half way set up before i got the ****s with it & sent it over the back fence..We asked the own if WE could put a shed up that was a month ago & still waiting to hear back, the realestate say he is just a dick & is just being a dick about it as we stoped him ringing us & turning up when ever he feels like it..The realestate said that they advised him to let us put one up as we had done all the stuff need to find out at council & its exempt from permission.
