Can't beat a V8 burble, especially when it's coming from a Land Rover!

Just purchased for $1500 on Ebay, an 81 V8 wagon converted to twin cab ute. The transmission and axle assemblies have been replaced with Toyota LandCruser components, so although no longer original, it would be very reliable, easy to maintain and repair.A better turning circle and front disc brakes are also nice features. Might fit the Toyota 3b deisel engine I've had in the the shed for the past 10 years when the dual fuel 3.5 V8 eventually wears out.

Noticed that at Harcourt. Not sure why the running gear would be rice burner equipment from inferior japanese copies, but can surmise that it may not be a stage 1, rather a converted earlier model series 3, originally a 2.25 or 2.6 litre. Why else would it be done this way? Seems not bad value though.

Let me know when you're picking it up Bill. Ifit's on the weekend, I would like to come up for a look.
