    That’s awesome thanks! It is very different.

    I’m very much leaning towards going V8 with the original gearbox now, but this shows me it’s still going to be a big job. That’s not the end of the world - I have access to someone who is a good welder, but I need to sort the right bits out to cut off / weld on. I’d come grab that chasss but I reckon you’re a bit far from me ?

    if times on your side, I might be able to pick the chassis up for you late this year and then drop it down to adelaide towards the end of the first quater of 26

    Ha! I’m certainly in no rush. I’ve been slowly getting to this point (disassembly) over the past 3 years with a group of friends. Next on is to rebuild the engine and gearbox, and get the chassis sorted ready to start reassembly. I expect this next phase to take another 2-3 years

    If it was no trouble then I’d consider taking you up on the offer, which is extremely generous. But if it’s out of your way don’t stress!

    well it might be some trouble, but then, its landrover so par for the course.

    its just another excuse for me to do another run and find some other new customers with new and interesting problems
