    driving skill goes a long way but give the best driver in the world a stock RAV4 and ask him to follow a dual locked fender on 35s and see how it goes.....

    This story works because of the "man bites dog" element.
    You'd expect the big tyres to breeze thru, and the skinny ones not to. Like you'd expect a dog to bite a man, not the other way around.
