Have you gotten hold of some discs and calipers and fitted the discs to the rear of a hub yet?

Strange, I thought it would be UNF.

I'll get one, take it down to the local bearing store and get them to check it.
CONFIRMED! They are definately 3/8" BSF x 1"
Maybe that's why whoever originally made the plates went to the trouble of countersinking the plate to allow the original bolt to fit.

I should get the discs and compare them to my mates Defender rears to make sure they are definately the same. I've already confirmed the calipers are rear Defender / Discovery.

Tell her that you are putting the money into an investment... your safety! It's also more likely that a S3 Land Rover will go up in value rather than a new car.

Rear end conversion is easy it has been done lots of times before (pm isuzurover)

As for the plates guys it will only take a week or so before you have them once we confirm thefit of course

If you go 4 wheel disc you will also have to install a propotion valve (or what eva its called)

Hey i was thinkin when i asked about my rims fitting after i do the discs on..Cause my rims are 15'' x 8''..
Well the rims i have came off a series1 disco SO if the calipers are disco/defender ... TJ you said you had to check to see if the discs where of a deefa or a disco So the daft question is if they are from a disco wouldn't my rims be fine ? & if a deefa i think i have seen some with 15'' rims......
Also if i only fit the discs to the front do i have to change my prop valve..

I put one in mine when i put the duel circet brakes on was told i had to...
