Just asking for some guidance here, please.
Within the last few days, I noticed a post that included a link to a video about an old oilfield vehicle (T-model Ford, or similar?).
This video showed the car ploughing very successfully through churned-up mud, on the way to an operating oil rig.
Someone posted a response that the video had been put up previously.
I now can't find the post, and wonder if someone can direct me to it.
I don't remember which Forum it was in!
I have put this question in "RECOVERY" 'cos it seems relevant, but the clip didn't involve recovery of a vehicle (except by itself and its 3 occupants).
Cheers

What I would like to know is where is the video of the attempt at breaking the record to drive from Melbourne to Sydney way back when. I remember the passenger was bouncing a good three feet in the air. It's amazing he stayed in.
The Hume was a pretty rough road back then.

What sort of car Mick, and who made the attempt? How far back?
Don.
City to city record attempts were something of an obsession in those days, Does this article ring any bells with you?
