Fitting Tigerz11 winch to ARB bar?

I went to bolt up my new 9000lb Tigerz11 winch to my ARB/LR tdi bullbar, and the motor fouls the chassis mount!

    Pics are here:

It looks like I will have to offset the winch to one side (and re-drill the mounts). Has anyone else fitted one of these winches? What did you do???

Be interested to see thesolution. is this just because its a modded bar to suit a TD5 or would it be the same when fitted to a Tdi ?

Those winches look pretty good value for money.

Did you get a steel cable or plasma rope one?
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

You mean you notched the chassis mount so the motor could protrude inside the box section?

The bar is a Tdi bar. This issue is related to the spacing between the chassis rails, so would/should be the same for any bar with the winch mount in the centre.

    I bought Plasma.

So just teh chjassis mount of teh bar not the chassis itself ?

By how much ? Wouldnt that weaken the structure too much ?

    Hi there,
I have fitted a 10,000pd Tigerz11 winch into my LR Factory bar - no problems. No meds needed?

Mine went in fine (Disco bar though). I think the motor on the two speeder looks a fair bit longer. I shall measure mine.
