I intend to mount it in a Speco Meter 2" twin gauge holder (it's actually 7mm to big, but I intend to enlarge the hole to overcome that), next to a Speco Meter boost gauge. Was thinking of putting an engine oil temperature gauge in too (as I intend to connect the EMS to the automatic transmission), but I think that would be a bit unnecessary and starting to get too clustered and over the top.

I also ordered a Nanocom Evolution direct from Black Box Solutions ($463.00 delivered), hopefully they have stock and will be able to supply it. This will hopefully help me fix my current issue with the engines performance.
Sorry but you are out of luck. I received this response from BBS only 5 days ago:

"Unfortunately I am unable to give you an expected due date for the new
    Nanocom units.

We are re-developing the Nanocom units and vastly improving upon them but
we are experiencing several delays which are beyond our control.

When we re-develop a product we usually expect a time scale of 6 to 8
weeks, however, it seems that due to the problems within the global
economy many of the parts we require are not held by the so called
stockists. Some of the items required for building the units have been
quoted as 12 weeks delivery time. Which as I am sure you will appreciate
dramatically slows down the whole process.

We have placed your order on file to reserve a unit for you. You will not
be billed until the unit is actually available for dispatch. As soon as

the unit is in stock we will contact you . Please rest assured that we are
working as fast as we can to get the new units ready."

Took them about 2 months before they actually even posted it. After they posted it it arrived quickly. But it came missing all the TD5 specific parts that were meant to be in the TD5 kit that I ordered with it! Here is it mounted now though:

My boost gauge is an Autometer GS unit in a Speco Thomas bracket. The MadMan EMS is mounted next to it:

I heard they can be a bit slow on the mail side of things. Collin and his crew are moving at the moment (for this week and next) so wont answer any of your emails.

I know this because Ive tried. When I got the evo I tried to re-level the D2's SLS. There is a glitch/error in the system though that reverts the car to transport mode every time. Found out that if you save the settings as transport mode 'disabled' it does the opposite. So when I was saving the settings as transport disabled, it was saving it as enabled. Something to be aware of D2 owners!

Would you believe that I actually found this info on another forum Ah well AULRO, its the first time you failed me - and its probably due to the fact that I'm a knob and can't search properly. Here is the info

Land Rover Owner • View topic - SLS Air Suspension stuck in Transport Mode

I have sorted the problem now but believe this was a problem with the nanocom 1 - you would think they'd have sorted it by now.

Collin? Pretty sure LandyOnline/MadMan is Brian? Are you not talking about the Nanocom/BBS people instead?

slug_burner and myself were commenting on the EMS' from MadMan.

Ah yes. My fault. That's me being a knob again. I'm currently subscribed to two threads and put the wrong info here.

On the positive side of things I did order my EMS2 at the same time from the entertainer and it arrived the same day as my nanocom. Its like xmas down here! Forgot to get the extended harness though and have to wait a few weeks for it. Im putting the EMS2 in the roof console of my d2. I also have my gme remote face uhf up there too so I will do a bit of shuffling.

I got one of the last EMS2 units the entertainer had - its the old version - I only want to measure boost, EGT's and have a low coolant alarm and anything else is just a bonus. So I dont need any new fan-dangled model with more features than I'll ever use anyways.

I see that some other people have been interested in the BBS guy and nanocom earlier in this thread so hopefully my post is useful for some.

Sorry for the cross threading! Good day to all!

I'll be shortly looking into whether or not a Torque on Android solution will work with my '02 Defender.

Then I'll either use my SGS2 Android phone (currently already used for on-road and off-road navigation), or put in a dedicated, cheap 7" Android tablet.
