No, the bush is easy to remove, it's steel on steel that has caused the problem.

Today - dropped the 130 to MR. Needs to get stuff done and then it can be transferred into my name and it will OFFICIALLY be mine.

Oh and I'll have some personalised plates for it come mid January.....

Booked the RWD 'George' into a workshop for next Monday to get the front propshaft fixed, along with an oil leak and a blinker still not doing its thing despite my efforts to fix it. So that money won't be spent on the rear air bags I had been planning to fit...

Put the EGR back on, then sealed up the fuel cooler with sikaflex, we'll see how that goes. Then I ran away in fear of OffTrack finding out I did such a bodgey job

Changed the transfer case in the D2 for a reasonably good secondhand unit. The centre diff in the old one appeared to be pretty well flogged out judging by the backlash with the CDL locked.

Added to the to-do list was getting the shoddy welding on the flex joint of the Td5 Alive fixed to repair small leak, replacing turbo to down pipe studs and bolts, and fixing a range of oil leaks

Today I'm picking the Defender up from MR and I will be a LOT lighter of wallet

Ah well at least it ought to drive like a new one now and also be fully roadworthy and not need much in the way of mechanical attention.

I just hope I havea few $ left for wheels and tyres / side steps and please please please a rear locker !

New King Springs and RidePro RoxShocks in my D1 . What a difference!!! didn't realize how much originals had deteriorated. 60mm lift rear, 50 mm front. Though I would think that will come back a bit when bedded in?

What did you do on your Landy today?

There are chunks of bronze and metal throughout the box.

Unless you are saying adjust the end float in the same sense as a crash damage will buff out....
