Zombie Stomping Thunder Truck is back!

A week out of action to replace a CV joint on my County, that also entailed getting a new HTE axle and chrome swivel housing...feels great to drive again :)
I have had a lot of extra expense due to problems caused by an inferior Rovertracks/Rovingtracks axle. Glad to have a locally manufactured HD axle instead, that is actually fit for purpose.
Now to go have a look at a Perentie
Well, said Perentie is within walking distance, just.
Having broken a genuine axle a few years ago, before doing much in the way of the harder stuff, no way was I going for a non-HD axle this time around. Coopers set me up wth a Hi-Tough axle, that fits with room to spare into the swivel housing, so all good
Did end up using one of your CVs :) thanks mate!
Swapped lights over to a set of LEDs. After following my wife home - she was in the Landy I was driving my fathers mazda I realised really how pathetic the original tail/brakes lights really were .
Not any more.

Tombie .....nice job on the rims ....good prep gives a great finish.
I did a 5 tyre rotation and repaced the (two) brake hoses on front LH side of my RRC (did the R H Side)
Now I'm about to hop in her for a test run ..... :D
Cheers

Fixed the exhaust on the wife's D2a. It had become extremely sluggish of late.. All good now.
Stripped the interior of my 2a ute for an engine and gearbox change.
