Got the td5 started after fixing the head gasket, oil cooler, thermostat, mounts, water pump. Oh yeah, broke the little plastic nozzle on the radiator that feeds that skinny little hose back to the expander tank. Fair dinkum.
Filled up my new Aux fuel tank and water tank. Spilled a lot of diesel down the side of the car too in the process. Its hard to get the hose on the right angle. More practice i think.
And played with the electrics to add another 12v socket to the rear. In the process i kept on blowing my glow plug and reverse light fuse. So i pulled out the socket and will work out the earthing problem after the trip. I don't want anything to go wrong while away.
