Thread: What did you do on your Landy today?

Took it for a run, barely needed a touch to the idling speed and mixture. What it needs now is a bit of dirt to fit in with the rest of the engine bay!

Or you could spit and polish the rest of the motor to make All look good

Fitted the new thermostat (thanks Mario ) to the defender and did a coolant change. Did a grease up at the same time. Mind you it was so hot today that I wasn't sure who was the grease spot!!

Our Defender is currently looking very clean and shiny, but I'm planning on getting it quite dirty during the holidays.

Wish I had more time to spend out on the roads

Fitted a new muffler to the 110 -last one lasted 15 years. Took about an hour and a half, and, believe it or not, did not have to replace any of the bolts, had no problems undoing any of them. Advantages of using anti-seize compound.

Also tightened the fan belt having diagnosed this as the cause of a flat battery (in conjunction with driving with the headlights on and forgetting to turn the GPS off).
