I got mine muddy yesterday, sliding around the paddocks taking fallen timber to the giant fire pile, then I went to see what the floods had done to the roads around the Kinross state forest.
I got it muddy today driving to swmbo's hay shed.
    I really need muddies.

Funny you should say that. About 40 years ago, at 2 Base Workshops, we had a bloke come out from, I think, Girling, who told us to do exactly that, because the bleed nipples on the front brakes of the IIa was on the bottom, and no amount of bleeding would get rid of the spongy pedal!

Bought a 2.5 x 2.5 metre awning and side wall and a couple of sand bags from a popular 4wd supacentre, they were delivered yesterday. Will need to work out how to put em on the s3 now...

The other good thing is, if it does break the pin, it weighs a hell of a lot less than a tow ball so won't do as much damage.

I have to agree mate. I use the receiver and pin all the time. Just not worth the risk using a tow ball.

Went out into glasshouse mountains and got muddy, had a great day, now I just need to fix a few things before next time.

As always, amazed at how good the old bus is on the road less traveled

    Yesterday..
Bought a 60 series clutch master and booster from local u pull it. Hoping to fit it to my 2a to make the clutch a bit lighter but the booster was full of brake fluid so took it back for a credit.

Also bought a d1 spare wheel holder for my no5 trailer to mount a spare wheel. Thought it might fit but no dice. Ahh well back to the drawing board...sigh
