yeah i just might do that. i plan to mount a proper pump at some stage. water does come out quite hot if i up the revs a little but at idle it is perfect temp.
That is one big heat exchanger. I reckon you could boil the water for a cuppa. I had a shower kit exactly the same as yours and one day went to have a shower and the pump was seized. Pulled it apart and it was full of rust. There is nothing more annoying when you set it all up, looking forward to that nice hot shower.
I now have mounted under my bonnet a fixed pump. If I was going to stick with what you have, I would buy a second one and carry it with the other spares.
Dave.

I did fail to mention too that my pump had probably only done about 20 showers over about two years.
Dave.
Installed the Expedition spring retainers on one side , only took me 5 hoursBloody thing wouldt line up the holes and of course there is not my room inside the spring with my big hands .
Started digging my way back into the mysterious depths of a 300 TDi.
I was going to find out for once and all, what is causing the oil not to be picked up after leaving the motor sitting for a couple of days.
You ought to see the mess in the garage after the temporary hose to complete the disconnected oil cooler circuit, split open, it was loaded up with 60 psi pressure at the time.
She called me a drip, perhaps she was right this time. The wife didn't want to know me. So move over Sam ( boarder collie

Today, not a whole lot, tidied up a bit of wiring, cleaned up the main earth points.
Now I'm about to have a shower before heading out for dinner and a movie for our 28th anniversary.

Maybe not today, but over the last couple of weekends - made and fitted a dual wheel carrier courtesy of a couple of bits from Rijidij.
