Replaced a uni joint and put the tailshaft back on. Drives well no vibes or squeaks so that's enough till the upgrade arrives.
Repco home branded unis are about $27, cheaper than the ebay options I could find.

New heavy duty axles, HD steering drag link and track rod and new front prop shaft = $1297 plus a bit for labour. I'm also installing the compressor for an ARB air locker and I need to wire up to the positive terminal on the accessories circuit on the ignition switch and also the dashboard illumination circuit - does anyone have any pics of these?
    cheers Gerald

High beam fixed. I have the traxride tronics headlight upgrade fitted, I put it in over 5 years ago and never a problem. Still not a problem with the upgrade, just the clown (me) who forgot to put the protective condute (provided in the upgrade kit) over the driving light switch wires from the upgrade relays into the cab and after 5 years it finally wore through causing the short.

Last week finally got a replacement spare to match the other 4, yesterday fitted new cup holders and replaced rear ones where the kids pulled it from the arm rest. Cleaned the hell out of it. Finished the UHF install and found a good spot to hang the mic (can press button to activate with hands on wheel and talk), added padding and more d/sided tape to base unit under dash & worked out how to change the colors on the face.

Today, new engine mounts, replace radius arms with new QT 3deg HD's, maybe get to steering box. Drill out bar for recovery eyes, fit winch rope, search the streets for money so I can get some new driving lights before heading west. Refit seat covers after dog threw up one one over a year ago (no I washed it, didn't wait the year for it to dry enough to flake off), clean and refit floor mats.

To be done, make template for aux fuel tanks and water tank. Make bash plate for front. Remove rear diff in a day and while it's out get it to Craft to have Ashcoft centre fitted with 4 bolt flange and refit both. While they're doing that, take housing as well to have straightened (2mm tow out on RHS).

After 3 or 4 years finally got around to re-fitting my left hand mud flap to the 130.

Also drove the S1 out of shed after she sat in there since the aulro Chrissy function at the Tank Museum in December. Very happy, in with battery, turn key, push button and brum-brum.

    Regards Easo
