Towed a parcel delivery guy from the Sub Continent, after he lifted a wheel on his Transit in the driveway across the road, stranding him. It only needed to be pulled half a metre.

Wow! The subcontinent is across the road from you? How cool?

Scouse (with a little help from me) changed the air suspension bags on my P38A from standard to Arnott's Gen 3 bags. I drank his tea and watched.

I actually got to drive my Wife's D1 auto, she calls 'Daisy', to a evening at 'The Tasmanian Bushland Gardens' near Buckland.

The event was a part of 'Festival of Voices', a good sized crowd was in attendance and they thoroughly enjoyed the spectacle.

Only in Tasmania are the locals tough enough to go out of a night in the middle of winter to a outdoor event, all of this while there is snow settling on the higher peaks.

We did enjoyed the heater in 'Daisy' on the way home, especially after getting slightly damp during the course of the evening.

I finally got around to wiring up my Fyrlyt's that have been mounted since late last year.
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

Strictly speaking, that should go in the "good deed for the day" thread as you did not do anything to your Landy today :-)

Replaced the rear door hinge pins on the County with some shiny new ones. The top one's little brass bollock was worn down several millimeters on one side. Cleaned and greased thoroughly.

Had also intended to implement the changes I had all planned out to fix the geometry of the tyre carrier my dad knocked together. Upon disassembly I discovered that none of the hinges align and at least two hinge bolts were held in with a combination of friction and optimism. Practically no part of it is usable.

Any recommendations for an off-the-shelf tyre carrier to suit a 1986 County?

A Rijidij carrier fit my '85 County quite easily
