    Just an update I sourced and good used auto and have fitted it. I also used my Ashcroft HD TC that had been sitting under the house for 3 years. Well it works perfectly. Took a lot of attempts to get it seated at he correct height the bush in the TC was a bit tight. (I have risked not getting it opened and inspected but I was short on time and cash)
    Anyway the Ashcroft TC was not the issue and it works perfectly, my d2 is running well.

    There aren't too many that can rebuild the ZF properly and use decent hard parts. Beware the cheaper gearbox is what I say!

    This box is out of a D2a and has a 172000 on it so if I get another 50000-70000 I'll be happy, That should tied me over untill the new defender.
