looks like yours if different then, pic above is just one side as easier to get detail.
top bolt hole was already there and bolt goes direct into winch.
middle bolt through fairlead goes through bar and nut behind, comes out in a resess in the winch.
bottom bolt goes through lower fairlead bolt hole and bar into winch.

the fairlead bolt holes were the only ones needing drilling, the holes were there already. this is an aldi winch and fairlead.

i would call arb and see if you need a cradle being an earlier model.

I had one of these on my old D1, it had the winch cradle, and I also got a protector from ARB for the winch

From what I can gather they are different between D1 & D2, D1 has the cradle and D2 has the extra holes in the front of the bar

See these links for fitting instructions and comparison

wow this is going to be fun then having to source a cradle that apparently ARB dont think they have.

Hopefully if I find one (which im not hopeful) it doesnt interfere with my steering guard

When I got the guard for the winch I called ARB with the part #, I guess I took all the work out of it for them because I never had any problems, and it arrived within a week

I am not sure of the cradle part number, as I cant find my ARB price list at the minute, but that may make it easier for you to get hold of one

I have also seen them come up on eBay occasionally, or you could use a universal winch mount

    ARB part # 6171223

Quick google search shows one in the UK for 127 ish pounds, postage will be a killer though

I am sure you could get one cheaper over here, maybe try TRS if you have no joy with ARB

Lou, I've always found that the best option for ARB information is to ring the head office in Kilsyth, VIC and ask to speak with one of the guys there.

I found this old ARB price list and it shows two possible additions for winch installation depending on the bar (about page 59):
    http://ftp.users.on.net/%7Eholmes280...ter%20File.pdf
I had dual airbags in my D1 and thus had the airbag compatible bar. Unless they've change the design then the bar will only take an XD8000 or XD9000 Warn or equivalent as nothing else would fit across the area with out some serious tweaking. The winch also had to sit very low on the bar. Your steering guard will probably be OK but you may have to make some mods, I remember part of the winch kit was a thin steel guard under the winch tray but it didn't have to stay there.

So looking at that ARB catalogue, the 2 variants are for SRS and non SRS vehicles

The cradle is used with the SRS compatible bullbar

Unfortunately, as far as I can see from that list the cradle is not available seperately?

well I have an X9 superwinch so lets hope that it fits the cradle then hey....

the only other thing I can do I guess is get a cradle made up or get rid of the bar for something else. *sigh*
