I just prefer the old when "one lot's rocking don't bother kno....."
err, no, not that one.
Oh, when one set of rockers are rocking, their opposite set are loose.
ie. when one cylinder has its inlet and exhaust valves opening/closing at TDC, it's opposing cylinder has the lifters on the cam base circle and the valves are loose, so you adjust those two, and on you work through your valves pretty quickly.
eg.if #4 valves are rocking, you adjust the loose pair of #1 valves.
I like Land Rovers that have crank handles, so easy to set the tappets, do number ones tappets then half a turn with the crank do number three, half a turn - number four and last half turn - now where was I ?
