I haven't fitted one (it's on my christmas wish list, along with the ones for front/rear diffs), but while most LT230 work can be done from underneath, the whole snout comes off. I'd much rather do it all on the bench.

Less oil running down your arms etc.

I rebuilt my box and have installed it but not put all the bits back on it yet, so if I don't have to take it out again that would be good.
