Thumbs up An APOLOGY to ARB - surprise

I recently posted here about a problem with my rear locker 'o' ring and the subsequent failure of the locker to operate.

I had a shot at ARB in my post.

Well, to their credit, they are obviously monitoring AULRO. I received a pm from ARB and they are willing to investigate my problem. I've supplied as much info as I can and they are going to have a look at it at their HQ in Kilsyth on 4th June.

So ARB at this stage a conditional apology from me is appropriate.

I'll let you all know the result.

Well done ARB. That's proper PR work from ARB. Other retailers could learn from that.
I'm impressed. Glad to hear things worked out well for you.

Alan, did you contact them prior to your posting about the locker failing?

Nice to hear you may have some progress on your problem Wardy. I am not quite so chuffed today myself; I mentioned in reply to your earlier post that my locker does not leak oil but rather leaks air, does not lock, and now needs to come out for the third time this year. Well, since my trip on the weekend I have had the unmistakable stench of gear oil through my car (the compressor is under the back seat) and today I spent 3 hours removing the back seats, brackets and seat belts and cleaning about half a litre of gear oil from the interior of the vehicle. So no apologies from me at this point.

Pierre, no I did not contact them prior to my post. Their contact was a direct result of this forum.

    I'm impressed too,, very
I would like to think that maybe someone there has remembered where ARB started his work on 4X4's,,, Land Rover apparently. He needed things for his car and built them for it,, thus he then started his company

At least, that's what I heard,,

As an aside, I was a bit disappointed myself when I was out at Kilsyth looking for a BB for the Puma. To make theirs fit, I had to cut/remove part of my grill. They had a special instruction sheet for it. I couldn't believe it.
