it was based on the Rover diff. Why, well I guess that military was having housing problems not diff problems??
my point was, if a company like Ruffstuff makes housings for: Toy, Nissan, Dana, Ford, 14b (corp) etc, and they have the rover housing on file, then how hard would it be to get a ford9 centre with rover housing ends and brackets built??
There may be others also that have done it, if not, simply supplying them with bare housing may be an option.
Cvs in the swivel ball is the problem. MaxiDrive use to make custom swivel balls that would house a 101cv yet retain a stock swivel housing. That cv would be as big or bigger than a 80 series or nissan.
