Below 3800 it hasn't got the grunt to pull a sailor off ya sister. Strange,I think their graph is way off the mark

If that's the case, the motor is setup like a circuit racing motor where it needs to stay on the revs or it bogs down. Similar graph to the LS9.

From what i can see on other sites it shows 551lb-ft (747nm)@3800rpm and 556hp at 6100rpm..maybe the chev graph is wrong or we just reading it wrong:what:

The LSA is run in the 2013 Cadillac, Camaro and HSV GTS so im sure its not a circuit racing motor, infact it would have to be respectable at idle and at the same time be capable of exeptional performace to be chosen for these cars. I think the chev graph is wrong in regards to torque.
This has a good description http://www.indmar.com/Engine/indmar/...hargedlsa.aspx

Ok offical Chev product brochure shows 551lb-ft (747nm)@3800rpm and 556hp at 6100rpm..those fancy graphs for sure show the wrong figures or maybe they do things different in the states

The catalog shows around page 188-200 from memory the correct torque as above stated in writing however graph in the catalog also still shows otherwise it seems.

Would there be any problems with engineering in your opinion with boring standard spindles for 31spline? Are there any other off the shelf spindle options for running 31 or 35 spline in rover tubes.

If you did the same for the front and lathed the swivels for 31spline what CVs would you use?

    500+RWHP What is that in?

it was based on the Rover diff. Why, well I guess that military was having housing problems not diff problems??

my point was, if a company like Ruffstuff makes housings for: Toy, Nissan, Dana, Ford, 14b (corp) etc, and they have the rover housing on file, then how hard would it be to get a ford9 centre with rover housing ends and brackets built??

There may be others also that have done it, if not, simply supplying them with bare housing may be an option.

Cvs in the swivel ball is the problem. MaxiDrive use to make custom swivel balls that would house a 101cv yet retain a stock swivel housing. That cv would be as big or bigger than a 80 series or nissan.

anything is possible, how deep are your pockets

For the rear can buy spindles in the states to take 35 spline through them. Or get some machined up, basic stuff for someone with a lathe. Also you have to machine the hub to take bigger bearings. That's only a few hours lathe work.
Oh someone just brought my Sals finally

31 spline takes light bore, who, would even notice? 35 requires new spindles

I would just fit high pinion nissan centres and housings, get bigger brakes aswell, just need cal offroad cv and axles, cheaper by far and strong, you must have deep pockets, if is fabbed setup

Sals is awseome as its bolt in factory, no engineers, tough as non custom option

500+RWHP and good fuel economy of a diesel haha
