Mate,

I scurried out cockroach like the other night and snapped a few but they didn't mean much on reflection so I will have another go in the cool light of day.

The reality is that as steering protection it doesn't add much more than the existing bar except that it has a thicker wall. My bar was bent so needed replacing.

    It is the GCA kit.

    Stay posted.

Interesting because they refused to advise me of this in writing. Besides they bend sideways with even a modicum of lateral force so I wouldn't trust 'em if I were you. Remember lives are on the line.

I have some 'Outback Ideas Recovery Points' (see thread of same bame - can be found in common threads forum) fitted to my bar and they are plenty strong.

It sounds, however that Micka is doing some for a VERY good price and Micka mate perhaps posting some piucs (perhaps in a a seperate thread) would be a great idea. (I'll then add that thread to the one in common threads forum re recovery points for you).

Nice pics Glen but I can't understand what kind of sicko gets rid of a Defender to buy a Disco.

 Well, if I said I was having an out of brain experience, would I be excused 8O

No the real reason is the missus wont drive a manual and not many auto Fenders around and as it's her car during the week  and a fender wouldn't fit in the garage, but the long term plan is to get a 130 double cab and fit out for an extended desert tourer to compliment the disco

It does bring a little tear to my eyes every time I look at those pics

    Glen.
