Thread: D2 Blocked Air Con Drain

Thanks for the reply's and photo's. Found the drain and inserted thick string about 6 -7 cm and nothing. Would not go any further and did not want to force it in case I damage something.

Now I can just see some of you sicko's having a laugh at my choice of words above.

The problem I have is I don't want to drive to Sydney for something so simple and am worried if I get more agressive I will damage something. Any advice would be appreciated.

Did you disconnect the hose inside the car, it's a concertina/rubberised thing that just pulls off the stub of the drain pan. That way you can use your 'thick string' or a pipe cleaner to clean the stub.

A bit of semi flible cable can then be pushed down the pipe to the outside of the car - this should clear it out.

After I did mine I also sprayed some anti bacterial spray up into the drain pan - and down each drain pipe. Seems to reduce the build up of gunk.
