    D2 Blocked Air Con Drain

Tried to do a search and not much came up. Think the air con drain is blocked can anyone tell me where to locate them under the car and the best way to un block them? Please remember I am not mechanicaly minded.

Water is not dripping from the car after the air con has been running and the carpet is starting to feel a little wet.

This thread gives you the location of the drain see if it's blocked.
You could try and unblock it with a screwdriver or something. Be careful though, it is an expensive toy to repair.

Now you made me crawl under the car pl1ck. Crawl under the drivers door look at front dif and uni joint. Look directly above it there is a 10mm diameter clear rubber hose hanging down attached to nothing at the bottom, this is the drain. Unfortunately my camera doesn't like under car photo's

Thanks dobbo, hope you did not get too dirty I owe you. Are the tubes black like half the size of a black straw?

I used compressed air to clean mine out. I disconnected them inside the car - just underneath the centre console front end. Used a small pipe cleaner to clean the stub back to the drain pan (carefully), and pumped the air down the drain tube.

And I removed the rubber nipples on the end of mine so they won't block again. My D2 does not offroad, it only tows my SIII for offroading. I figure the risk is low compared to the carpet repair.
