    actually.....they do come with new stereos.....a set comes (or used to) with every new car.....
    i have a set or two of each type that used to come through workshop up untill the time i left there.....

    from jaguar to rover to land rover to saab.......



    if they were left in the car....they are usually in with the handbook......or in the glovebox/console......

    As stated earlier I used your tip and it worked perfectly.

    Removed the full unit today and after taking a few measurements I made up a set of 'proper tools' (well after a fashion)
