If I get it i'd like to go with 245/75s, but that may be a bit more of a noticable difference. Trick will be getting some MT's at a reasonable price in the size that I want I think. 225/75 may be the way I have to go.
Ace, thanks for that, I had a look at your page, but missed that bit. Thanks for the link![]()

Bump
probably won't be able to make another push for the disco for a couple of months, but by then hopefully the missus will agree. At the moment to get it, grover would have to go, and I would have to be able to get a sports car for the missus as well as the disco out of the cash from grover and the x-trail, and there ain't enough there (and I want to keep grover).
But for now, more questions. This vehicle has been sitting for a bit, so with a bit of luck it won't go anywhere for a while, and might drop the price by the time I can get my hands on it. Engine has been pretty much rebuiilt, but there was only one entry in the service history. there are reciepts for some services in the glovebox, but only dates, no distances. No idea about timing belt, but as it was rebuilt in 05 it should be ok until I can confirm it's age. Question is, would it be a stupid thing to do to look at this one without any tangable service history. DOD being the first owner it would have been done under their owner****, but later on, dunno.
