yeah but look youve lost at least a full 8mm of clearance there probably more as I bet its not attached to the bottom of the housing...![]()

The late 2a axle housing leaning against the wall in my shed has studs with heads like wheel studs from S3 on. But since they changed the wheel studs from screw in to ones with heads, maybe they did the same on the diff mounting bolts?Originally Posted by rovercare

Well having just read this thread I don't think anyone has mentioned that regardless of the bolt or stud arrangement if you were to take the top two bolts out it couldn't leak anyway.
Maybe if you took out the bottom two![]()
