    Thumbs down Normal or Not?

Just a quick Q for you guys driving 2000yr 110/130's, does your trailer light on the dash flick on with your blinkers? it only comes on once with mine, but would presume it would stay on if i hooked up and towed something to complete the circuit. As i said it only flashes once with the first indicator flash then remains off. Is this normal or just one of them landrover things that you come to love/hate but its what makes it!

I thought that was "normal". With no trailer connected they come on once, with a trailer connected they stay on, if the trailer lights are working.

Mine come on all the time because the trailer plug has been wired up wrong.

Extra blinker lights in your bull bar trips the trailer light too.

Quite normal, without a trailer attached the light will flash once when the indicators are used.

When you connect a trailer - then use the indicators the light will flash in unison with the indicators. If it doesn't then there is either a problem with the trailer wiring or the indicator bulb(s) on the trailer has blown or is faulty

That's ABSOLUTELY normal!.........it's a Land Rover thing,..... most people wouldn't understand.

It's supposed to be a double-safety check thing for the indicator lights - whether a trailer's hooked up or not.

Check your Owner's/Operator's Manual, they mention it and explain how it works in there.

Ah that's what mine'll be then. I guess it detects the extra globes in the circuit.

yes mine flash in time with the indicator with or wothout the trailer connected.

But as stated it could be the extra lights on the bullbar

With out a trailer on .My drivers side flasher makes the trailer one flash all the time when used. But the passenger one only flashes the trailer light once .
I was told the arb front bumper with the indicators in, gets them a bit confused and will not work properly.
