    Rear load leveler

I know this has been done to death but I couldn't find any previous related threads when I did a search.
I am a big fan of the load leveler........ in theroy, but I think it's screwing with my rear driveline so I would like to remove it, go for a drive and see what differance it makes.
My Q is how dose the shaft remove from the A-Farme? Everthing is done up Jesus tight and I'm not too partial to wasting my time undoing the wrong part.

    Cheers Guys

G'day All, I would suspect it's a 110 as he says he is a member of the Isuzu fan club cheers Dennis
PS my load leveling device was taken off years ago, it is removed from the top of the chassis and down on the frame that comes off the top of the diff from memory cheers

Yea I kinda wanna advoide cutting it(although it did cross my mind) as if it makes no differance I would like to put it back on.
    It's a D90 with a sailsbury rear diff , and yes a Isuzu.
The chassis mounts arn't the problem, it's how to undo the rod at the A frame end.

According to the manual, the ball joint on the end of the rod is retained in the fulcrum bush by a threaded bush that is undone by a hexagon just below the rubber boot.

Try soaking it in penetrating oil for 24hrs. If you get the rubber boot out of the way gentle warming of the bit it screws into should be able to be done without hurting anything except the grease in the ball joint (which you will replace anyway if you put it back on). I would keep it below red heat, probably just until the oil starts smoking. That should make it a bit easier to undo.

There is a flat on the shaft and one one the ball joint top.
You have to hold one and turn the other (the lower one). I had to grind down a spanner to not interfere with the other flat.
I think I jammed the upper spanner against the axle and whacked the lower spanner with a hammer.
It was a long time ago.
    Regards Philip a
