another trick when using a mig is when you have built up the stud enough weld a washer to it I use the thick machine washers not the paper thin ones you get from bunnings, the weld a nut to the washer use a bigger nut then fill up the hole.

the first time the studs were that tight that even with easy outs they would not come out I was worried about breaking a easy out in the stud that I ended up drilling them out an using a heli-coil to repair the threads
disco seriesII mods so far:-bullbar,hyd winch,
detriot locker, lsd front,C.D.L kit, chipped and bigger intercooler,2" lift, rock sliders, lsd in transfer case, modified auto trans.

OK she's back up and running again with 3 new studs, a retiered guy did the extraction of the broken studs thisarvo and i put it back together, one of the hoses that goes from the intake from the airbox to the turbo had broken so i superglued it (temp job) it's a small thing that is bolted to the aircon and has 2 hoses one going to the air intake and th other going to turbo boost regulator/adjuster, anyone know what it is.
