    TD5 Coolant

I am trying to order in some OAT red, as discussed on this forum and have been told that its not available thru this supplier(the only one) but there is a BLUE which is the same, considering the price and mine has had green in it since new, WTF IS GOING ON!!!! I can sing a rainbow, a rainbow.
Could someone please tell me the actual brand and name of this magical Dodo"s blood.Thanks.

ID like to tip that its just manufactures dyes like they do for brake fluid and other oils... but read the bottle and read the spec sheet for the engine, if the words are the same and the numbers are the same who cares about colour?

Nulon RED Concentate Coolant,$25/2.5 litre from Supercrap. You need 2 bottles for the corect Landy ratio,1 bottle is too weak.
Pretty sure the same brand premixed was too weak as well.

Caltex stock it at $50 for 5 litres. I have a green bottle in the shed that was supposed to be ok but I just couldn't bring myself to put it in after all my woes.

Havoline (Caltex) is the ONLY approved coolant for the LR TD5.

Stealers sell it for $12.00/l and you need no less than 6 litres.

Contact your Caltex wholesaler, they can do it for you in 20l drums... Hook up with a fellow TD5 Owner nearby (using this list) and go halves.

basically, if it's GM Dexcool approved, it meets the Rover specs too.

The Caltex Longlife OAT is available from the ditributors in 4 litre bottles or 20 litre drums, and most Caltex servo's in the 4 litre containers.

well I've ended up with Prix Max MeG 95 as the only option I can get thru this guy(the only guy) at $52 for 5 litres (makes 15), can I use it? Its OAt, 95% Ethyl Glycol etc, but is it safe to use, or do I have to drive to the big smoke??

geez, the Caltex stuff has gone up in price, yet retail is still only $33 for 4 litres as a concentrate.
What are the specs for the Meg95 ?
Sounds like it might be a GO-5 substitute, which is a HOAT. (hybrid- bla bla bla )
