    Should be Left hand thread, turn anti-clocwise as if tightening, I've never done one on your type car but usually you can make up out of a bit of scrap metal about 5-6mm thick a "C" spanner that fits over the bolt heads on the fan pulley, Regards Frank.

    Was it left Hand thread, C spanner will stop any damage to hole in cast pulley, Regards Frank.

    yes, it was L/H thread. facing engine turn CLOCKWISE to LOOSEN.
