Basil jumps on bonnet, cussing Manuel - will work well for the Spanish speaking market too...Que?

Or ten laps around the car chasing the rat, yelling 'Sybil'!!!!

This would easily reset the entire computer system...

Thanks for the support fellas, I shall try the CTRL-ALT-DEL method just for fun.

AS for the lights stevo, they are on solid. The fault (well at least last time this happened) is logged as the Front Right Wheel Speed Sensor.

The last time this was reset, the vehicle had to be driven over 15k's (approx) an hour before the lights went off.

Defenderzook, I am also in the Shire....
If you think you can I would like to try. I can pm my mobile if you wish.

Start > Set Prog. access > Uninstall would probably be better.

Get a rat, ideally from Basil Fawlty. It can chew thru the annoying wire and your problem will be solved...

Come to think of it, I've got a rat......................

I'll happily post to Sydney for you and you can keep it as well, ecko!

the dreaded 3 lights problem, while i thought mine was the same, it wasn't thanks to stevo. After all a D1 only has one light and a different modulator
Mine ended up , and it was after checking checking and re checking a broken inner wire on the front right wheel sensor.( and no I havne;t had it fixed yet.) The codes on the computor came up as air gap front wheel sensors. figure that out.

You could try to check the sensors out, just use the old multimeter, one of the shire bretheren can help you there. Especially if it happened after you did a three point turn.

the broken wire just doesnt send a signal back to the ecu......so it says the airgap is out of range.....

to set the airgap.....stick a bit of cardboard onto the sensor.....a piece of your cornflakes packet will be just fine....
and press the sensor back in.....as soon as the wheel turns it will flick the cardboard out and the aigap will remain.....

but if he has brake squeal.....first we need to eliminate that.....its easier.....

The brakes and hubs are the same or nearly the same as the P38A and I've never had a brake squeal problem.

I shall check which pads I use - I think they are Lockheed-Delphi (on the old classic I used Bendix). The rotors are LR.

I do chamfer the leading edge of the pads.

    Angry

CTRL+ALT+DEL did not work on the car. I even took it for a drive afterwards.
