yes,
have used and abused the 32'' mongrels, got sick of swapping to the road set so i left them on. bloody great no issues at all.
cheers phil
I know Dad is an ex Auto Mechanic I’ve been around more cabs then in them
But are they any good will they perform as good as BFG muddies off road or are they artily crap, will they balance up or be like a bouncing ball
My feelings are they will be crap but an old 4wd buddy had them on a RR and he swore by them but no offence 80’s RR is not exactly as smooth as D2
the other problem is that it seems there sizes arnt exactly wide range
Yes i have a set of muds, thay are BFG Copy's more or less, 245/70/16 on our 98 Disco, very happy with them on and off road.
Not as noisey as I thought they would be on road, but after our Dunlop ats they are great in mud but also the steep rocky type tracks, havent had them in the sand as yet though, so look out Beachport next year!
.
We gave them a real hard time at avoca a few weeks ago, and they came through with no probs at all.
The price I got mine for was about $115 Fitted, and as it turned out I paid for 4 but got 5 tyre's
I would just double-check their speed & load rating and then run it by insurance company.
Just a thought - Do motorway tyres have a speed restriction like retreads?
