On my recovery over the weekend we used a snatch strap into the tow bar hole and put the pin through it. There was some huge loads on (draging the hilux forward on the winch) and didnt even bend the pin.
I think tow & winch would be fine its when you start putting a snatch strap on trying pull very stuck vehicles it may come to problems BUT i dont have one of these bars with a pin so cant say
comments anyone?
I would have to say that towing/winching would have to be o.k. as thats what the pin does when the tow ball is fitted and you are towing a trailer? just my 2 cents.
