    Oh the embarrassment at having to call the NRMA to change a flat in peak hour traffic...

    I suppose if I got one with a minimum height of more than 200mm then I could always use the hi-lift and a jack-stand to get the vehicle high enough to put the bottle jack underneath.....

    Or alternatively I could try putting the bottle jack on the chassis instead of the axle - a block of wood underneath it should also give me enough lift to get the wheel off the ground and put a jack-stand down....
