    Pssst you mean ED

I had an ED XR8 sprint....sold it after a sprint from the law, and decided to give up road cars for a while

Shame, I wanted one for years to, the only car I kept for myself, I hadn't built

I know my 90's fords and it was definatly an eb, mock sprint/xr8 maybe but definatly a factory fitted 5.0 mustang windsor. I had the heads off due to coolant leaking into the sump and it had cast heads and roller lifters. Also had and svo cam but im 99% sure this was fitted aftermarket.

It had a set of headers and a 3" exhaust and ran 13.7/13.8 1/4's all day long.

do bad it burned down do a dodgy stereo install.

Then you'd know there was no EB sprints

If they put a roller cam in, they'd of had to fit roller lifters, so no suprise there, E7 heads?

What plenum, intake, GT40?, would have had a grey cover also, with a dirty bolt through the middle of it, not quite as neat of a fit as a normal EFI windsor

A couple of pic of the difference between a 14 year old Lucus injector and a 3 year old bosch injector. No prizes for guessing why there easier to tune with. The also run a higher impedance which takes load off the injectors drivers in the ECU and allows finer control

    Luke.

Have done a similar thing on my TVR (Rover V8).. execpt used Megasquirt/EDIS-8. I too have noticed the std Lucas Green injectors seem to give varying AFR..

If I go an auto shop and ask for " bosch 4 orifice dual pattern injectors (ala ba ford 6cyl)".. will they know what I mean. I understood bosch injectors were colour coded..and Reds provide the same cc/min as the Lucas Greens (240cc/min).

Is there a bosch part number?

    thanks
