Bugger!!! But, better to find out now than in the middle of nowhere......

Well, I've near finished my clean up and though I'd get an instructional together on how to correctly set up pinion heights on banjo style diff's but have come to a halt
V1 maxi with KAM 4.11 diff gears
The hold up
How long its been like that, I don't know, but by obvious signs its been a while, the axle has been keeping it true
I only sold a V1 the other day to
And now no maxi drive
Anyone got any V1 maxi centres laying about?
Its going to be a mammoth fix![]()

Wow. I've never seen one do that
. The axles did well to hold it. I missed out on a wrecked 86 model at Kotara NSW that had early maxi in it
Sold now
Had a 4.6 in as well as LT230
The Diff would have got you going. Tony
Oh well, worst part is a V2 carrier wont work as these V1 are 28 spline V2 is 24, so I'll be up for axles to unless I source bits, or alot of machining and "creativity" to fix it, already been through it with mate who is a machinist, its doable............but not quick enough![]()
