4.11's wont bring your gearing back to standard but it is an acceptable ratio for 35's. I am unsure of what the drive ratio would need to be to get it back to standard.
A manually operated diff lock is the way to go and IMO the only way to go in the front. Auto lockers and side slopes are dangerous and in a constant awd set up wont work in the front at all well.
Run the standard c.v.'s and see how you go if you keep breaking them then you will need to upgrade. You will break inner axles on the front if you dont upgrade these. The stub axle is a good fuse for protecting the inner components and much easier to change over than an inner axle, cv or diff.

Ramon. .............well it turns out i just sheared the drive flange clean off the axle....slightly easier to fix!!yay!!
