Should have done it in flame red Be interesting to see how that paint stands up to use over time. I was going to get started on my Rangie today but my mate has been called home.
My neighbor has been hounding me to help with his dead Disco so going down there now. Looks like yours will be going before mine is built up

I did a set of extractors on a mini in my youth and the paint held but lost a little of the colour. They were red and went lighter in colour and appeared a little powdery closest to the exhaust ports. I suspect on the pipes down stream the colour will last longer.

Slug, that might be the case , The Surface of VHT spray goes like a fine powder , I ran my hands on the painted surface once dry and a fine podwer somes off , Although pipes further away from ports is not real concern for me as I can get them made up again later again if rust blows a hole thru them ,really my main concern was to increase Longevity of "the extractors". seeing it was a pain to get them out.

Khos, you should have painted them "Aussie Mud Ochre", cause that is what they will be if you take the thing off road.
I am a bit worried that they were so clean when you took them off.

PhillipA, They will probably fade in time.

I matched the color of exhaust with the "extractors" ( who are getting "Ceramic coated") which is why I sprayed them in grey.

now "Aussie Mud Ochre" ??? not sure if this color exits in VHT range or wheather you're serious or having a "Dig" , no idea , the car will be taken off-road for many more years to come , and the colour of the exhaust or extractors won't really matter then , noboy will be able see it under the vehicle unless they are specifically looking for it.
