And here was I about to discuss the tech merits of Rudy Projects vs Oakleys
I'll dig up a few wheel links DB
Does anyone know where to actually purchase sunny's from?
Or is it common knowledge that you can walk into any tyre shop and buy them
I'm after 16x7 and would prefer black.......would take another colour if cheap and just spray them myself.
I can get a hold of 16x8 but have been advised by a friend that I should go 16x7 for the size tyre I want to run as there will be no bag in the side wall when aired down
could of got the 16x8 for 50bux a rim
So I'm asking this as I basically dont want to walk into a tyre shop and have them laugh at me which is a common occurance when your a girl.....as they all just presume you know nothing about cars and tend to make you feel a little stupid in front of all the other big manly blokes waiting around

Pretty sure Pro Comp do L/R PCD
Pro Comp - Australia - Rock Crawler Steel Wheels
and ring King, they may well have 16" wheels. I'm sure a few on here or Outerlimits use their wheels
And don't forget what offset or backspace you want.
Stock Disco 1 wheels use 33m offset for a 7" rim.
130 HD rims (6.5" ) are 20.6mm offset which works out a touch over 4" backspace.

If you're after 16x7s, why not stick with Disco steels ?
You should have some nice satin black left over from your bonnet job.
Scott
two reasons find disco steels where someone doesn't want the earth for them...personally people asking 400 upwards for 4 I think is a bit pricey for secondhand wheels others may disagree, but I wouldn't pay it
and also I'm after a little bit of an offset not much but enough to stop my nobly tyres rubbing I'm not adjusting my sterring stops anymore the car already turns like a bleeding barge
So I figured the the sunny's would give me the compromise as I know they dont come with a hugs offest! well I dont know for sure I was led to believe...
i'm happy to pay a little bit of money if they are NEW, but need to get something sorted as I really want to get the tyres changed and I want the wheels there ready

Personally I'm a fan of Rudy Projects and WileyX...
Got 2 pairs of Rudys and a Pair of Wileys for on the Bike.
DullBird... You dont want sidewall bag... Good way to get your sidewalls torn.
The secret is elongation of the tyre, not width...
A lot of LTs hardly bag in the sidewall even down at 15psi.
