I don't think it does. After I got out I went and found a steep hill and used hill descent to get me down so that told me that low range was working?

We just got back from Harrington last week - its a great spot for fishing and a bit of beach driving.
I don't know what you drive but my D1 V8 petrol auto cruised around fine. I don't get any lights indicating low or high - only when I engage the CDL do I see the CDL indicator on the dash.
I used H2 and H3 with the CDL in - on the sand at Harrington. What were your tyres down to?
