its similar to the burring that ocours on the output shaft of the lt77/85/r380 and the input gear of the lt230. (and for that matter on the engagement collar of the lt230's diff)
it happens if you drive locked on a high traction surface while turning or if the lock fails to disengage due to windup and you get it onto the black top.
Generally speaking
the symptoms you describe require removal of the diff for investigation...
the burred spline is worst case
the failed seal is best.
broken return spring in the middle .
I have had an encounter with an ARB diff, 3 years old that was replaced FOC with spline damage.

just to be daft how do you know its the front locker thats sticking?
if you're only lifting one wheel and you've left it in park/gear its not going to turn anyway.

I know nobody likes this part but how about give jeff a call on monday morning before you rip it out although it sounds like it will have to come out, If he hasnt had a similar problem with his lockers before im sure he would like to know and offer help aswell

I have the diff out and it is jammed. The air is trying to lock mit but it won't budge so it must be locked in a bit. Will get my brother to have a look tomorrow as he is a mechanic and i have very little idea.![]()
Found nothing wrong at all so will put it back in and see what happens.![]()
